After vaccinating a barn of horses, pulling a coggins and doing a lameness exam this morning, I castrated 9 tom cats for a client. Worst part of it is that there are more her kids couldn't catch! I do this for clients on occassion just to remind myself why I don't work on small animals for a living. Big animals can hurt you, but little animals will hurt you more often-I got scratched by the first one while administering anesthesia.
